Sweater Weather

Alright here is that gender revel post I was talking about in a previous post!

A few things I learned from this shoot. When it's cold you are super limited, especially with children. I had a plan for all these little detail shots, and mom and son, and mom and dad poses but that just couldn't happen with the weather. Also if everything is not lightly covered in snow, then winter scenes are pretty colorless. I think there is this window where outside photography just isn't pretty enough. Between fall and winter. 

But besides all that, it was a fun little shoot. The day of the shoot the ultrasound did not actually reveal the gender so we ended up doing both blue and pink balloons. And now we know...... it's a girl!
